Description: Global Campus will open its virtual doors for applicants on October 1, 2007 and offer its first courses on January 2, 2008. A lot has been written about the Global Campus, but questions arise about whether and how it will impact technology activities in colleges and departments. This presentation will describe the overall technical environment for the Global Campus, with a focus on the ways in which the Global Campus could impact technology in colleges and departments – whether or not they are offering programs in partnership with the Global Campus. The goal of this session is to help you to be prepared to support your unit. Be sure to bring any concerns or questions that you want us address.
